Helping Ministries

St. Michael puts God’s love in action in the world. Here are a few examples of mission projects.

Thanksgiving Meal

With the help of volunteers from the church and community, St. Michael provides a meal on Thanksgiving Day as a gift to the community.

This year approximately 130 people enjoyed the Community Thanksgiving Dinner at St. Michael. Thank you to everyone who helped make this wonderful event possible.

Micah’s Backpack

Micah’s Backpack addresses children’s hunger issues by partnering with local schools to provide direct assistance to students and families who qualify for the free lunch program. Each week, the identified students will receive a backpack filled with enough food for the weekend. The backpacks will include two dinners, two lunches and two breakfasts. Volunteers will pack the backpacks and the partner schools will distribute the backpacks to the students. More information is available at: micahsbackpack.org.
